G.O.C (Green October for Agriculture Development Co. Mohab Soussa and Company)

GOC’s farm is located by Cairo – Alexandria Desert Road about 50 minutes driving time from the pyramids and consists of 220 acres in the desert area. Watering is obtained from non-contaminated deep wells. The farm established at 1992.

Greenhouses: GOC has today about of 900 Greenhouses and climate controlled nursery.

G.O.C Team: Permanent employees at the farm are 50 person (Including technicians, agronomists, labors, and other staff ), living at the farm.

Plantation of Vegetables  : Asparagus, Charentais, Pepper, Broccoli as main crops.

Asparagus :

Growing asparagus  since 1995 with the help of Dutch and German experts during initiation phase.

Production of white and green asparagus.

Seven months per year production including the off season period.

Charentais:

Started since year 2001 with the assistance of Spanish expert.

Weights start from half Kg up to 1Kg+

High sugar content fully rounded melon and with clear stripes

Three months of production annually.
